Our Mission Statement

In a world that relies heavily on animated CGI to sell their story, we offer instead a throwback to a form of entertainment dating back to the 5th century BCE in Greece. The unique, hands-on artistry of puppetry features a tangible image of live characters on a practical set that not only looks and feels real, but is real. The Twiddle Twerps are loveable and relatable characters who deal with common challenges kids face today. Laugh, cry, think, and dream with our cast of characters who support and learn from each other as their collective imagination takes them wherever they want to go.

A collaboration between Puppets on Hand and Iron Pixel Media brings professionals from all aspects of the industry to produce this project. Across the board this project was and continues to be a creation the cast and crew wholeheartedly believes in. From the initial first read of the script everyone was engaged and emotionally invested.

While our creation isn’t education centric, we prefer to stoke the fires of imagination in kids to develop their investigative, curiosity-driven problem solving skills.
